ith more than 30 years of experience in the Construction industry and over 300 projects and assignments delivered, he started his career as a trained architect. Founded MAC in 1989, he expanded the brand’s capabilities to become a first class EPC contracting firm offering engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services in various industry sectors; both public and private. Mamdouh Akef, holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from Ain Shams University.
In 2017, Mr. Mamdouh Akef stepped down as CEO handing over management to Ahmed Akef. With over 6 years of experience in management and operations within the construction and real estate sectors in Egypt, UAE, and Malta, Ahmed has brought in commercial and financial expertise to the organization. Developing and executing a bold strategic plan to grow MAC’s market share domestically with a followed pattern of growth. Starting as a Business Developer, Ahmed has brought a new vision for MAC with numerous strategic alliances established locally and a track record of increased revenues and growth patterns. Ahmed Akef, holds a degree in Business Management from London School of Business and Finance.
Tamer Adel, is the CFO of MAC, with over 20 years of experience in Finance, worked for a number of International firms in Egypt and the Middle East in the Construction, Industrial, and Tourism Industries. Tamer is a certified public accountant in Egypt, a member of the Egyptian accountants and auditors register, and a member of the Egyptian Society of Accountant and Auditors (ESAA), andan independent member of Baker Tilly International and TGS International.
With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry; starting his career as a Civil Engineer, Mohamed joined MAC in 1991 as Projects Director. Successfully managing and delivering technical and operations aspects of the company delivering over 300 projects including a number of contracts awarded by Cairo International Airport, Armed Forces Engineering Authority, Egyptian Air Force, Egyptair, Arab organization for Industrialization, National Service Projects Authority and more. Mohamed Hassan holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University.
Acting as T.O Manager of MAC, with 20 years of experience in the construction industry in Egypt, UAE, Qatar, and KSA; Mohamed started his career as a Civil Engineer at ECC in UAE, then moved to Qatar where he worked as technical office engineer. Moving back to Egypt in 2012, he spent 6 years at Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) as Senior Projects Control. Moharram, has acquired vast experience in mega projects within Egypt and the Middle East.Joined MAC in 2022 as a prime team member in line with the company’s development strategy to build a core team of highly qualified key team members. Moharram holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.
